- a new SteamOS 3.3 update released simultaneously with a new Deck client update. Both are beta releases
- heads up if you’re in Q3 and ordered the 256 GB or 512 GB model: you might end up getting a x2 NVMe rather than 4x
- 73% of the top 100 games on Steam are playable or verified
- Linux market share is currently 1.18%, thanks in no small part to the Deck
- Van Gogh is the most popular GPU among Linux gamers

- Splittown – an upcoming point-and-click adventure – could be coming to Linux

- Halo Infinite is playable with GE-Proton and patched Mesa drivers (also works OOTB on NVIDIA, supposedly)

- GE-Proton 7-24 adds ultrawide FSR support
- Proton Experimental fixes issues with various launchers and adds network video support to a few titles
- Wine 7.12 upgrades VKD3D to 1.4 and adds theming support to Qt5 applications
- NVIDIA driver 515.57 gets bug fixes and improved NvFBC support
- Thunderbird 102 is a big update that gets a UI overhaul and plenty of other features/improvements

- GOG finally removes the “in progress” note for Linux compatibility with GOG Galaxy…after several years
