- Some drama going around concerning the workforce behind the elementaryOS project. Cassidy James, one of the core developers behind the distro, recently left after working on the project for over 10 years
- It’s possible to run x86-based games on ARM thanks to box86
- A game that’s been out for a few years recently got a Linux port: HYPERCHARGE: Unboxed. It’s also Steam Deck Verified. Just be aware that, for the time being, the Linux servers are not yet cross-compatible with Windows servers. I got a review key for this game and will be reviewing it soon

- DXVK 1.10.1 released with the usual set of bug fixes, video playback for certain titles, and performance improvements

- RetroArch 1.10.2 released with better Steam Deck compatibility
- LDtk (level designer toolkit) – an open-source 2D level editor – version 1.1.0 released yesterday with a “Super Simple” export option, plus some other goodies
- Proton Experimental has been updated with support for more games, and bug fixes
- Fedora 36 has been released as a beta
- Lutris 0.5.10 was released with Steam Deck support and a lot of other additions
- Steam beta client received an update with a lot of Linux-related bug fixes
- Steam Deck has received a few updates this week, particularly with keyboard improvements
