Ubisoft Heading Back to Steam

Ubisoft Heading Back to Steam
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said back in July that if the Steam Deck is “big,” Ubisoft might consider bringing more of their games over to Steam, rather than resorting to their own Ubisoft Connect client. I can’t help but chuckle. The newly released Pokémon Scarlet & Violet is apparently suffering from framerate issues. A first-party game. Having framerate issues on native hardware. Good thing we’ve got emulation. Ryujinx is a great choice. In fact, if you want to play online multiplayer on Linux/Windows with Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, it’s possible thanks to the LDN build. We’ve got quite a few goodies in store here with the new 3.

Portal Series Gets Update -- RTX Reshade Coming Soon?
On Friday, both Portal and Portal 2 got an update. Both games upgraded to DXVK version 2.0. DXVK 2.0 brought with it memory management improvement, bug fixes, reduced shader compilation stutter, and plenty of other improvements. Portal 2, in addition to getting the DXVK update, also “fixed some controller input bugs.” While it may seem like a small update, now my speculation gears are flowing. Portal with RTX is “coming soon”; sometime this month, but no word on what day.
