Steam Deck Docking Station Delayed

In a move that probably surprised no one, Valve has delayed the production of the docking station for the Steam Deck. No word on when it will become available to purchase or what it will cost. “We’re working on improving the situation and will share more info when we have it,” the post from Valve mentions.
Good news is the docking station is being manufactured at a different facility than the one the Steam Deck is.
Steam Deck…in Prison?

Whelp, I found something interesting while I was browsing my Reddit feed this morning. Someone posted a photo of a Steam Deck…that’s in a jail cell.
I’m 90% sure it’s a Photoshopped meme, though. I highly doubt a device like that would be allowed. The Deck in the photo is also mysteriously hovering in the air; you can’t see the hands on the sides of it. In case the background looks familiar, yes, the original poster confirmed this is in Alcatraz.

Steam Deck Replacement Parts Are Available (Again)

Following the news that iFixit somehow “accidentally” leaked the Steam Deck parts page, the page quickly got shut down. Orders that were made while the page was live were still honored though.
Just a few days later, though, and the page is now back up. Unsurprisingly, some of the components are either unavailable (such as the battery and the screen) or have limited quantities. Once the parts do become available, though, you could technically build your own Steam Deck, although it’s going to be a lot more pricey than buying it through Steam.
2 Games Get Linux Support, Another 2 Games Get Steam Deck Support

Looks like we’re starting off a pretty strong week. Two titles have either received a Linux version or will be in the near future, and two titles have received Steam Deck support. Psychonauts 2 should be releasing on Linux later this week too if everything goes according to plan.
Swordbreaker: Origins now has a native Linux version, and along with the update came a few fixes. Casebook 1899 is an upcoming point-and-click mystery adventure; the demo will come on May 31 with native Linux support.

Can You Endure Watching this Steam Deck Durability Test?

First mentioned by GamingOnLinux, I decided to take a look at the video featured in the article. It was a YouTuber by the name of JerryRigEverything who recently posted a video of cutting across the Steam Deck…with a pocket knife.
Normally when you get that fancy new electronic device, you prize it so much that you’d do everything in your power to keep it safe from scratches or other types of damage.

Days Gone Now Steam Deck Verified!

Just posted today, Days Gone is now Steam Deck Verified. All the post shows is a screenshot with the green checkmark with all the requirements met, including full control functionality, Deck pad icons, legible text, and a decent default graphics configuration.
Nonetheless, it’s a massively popular title, one that’s been published by PlayStation PC LLC. Great to see a hit like this look and feel good on the Deck!
